I am so sad to hear that Karen Mowery has passed away. She had been fighting breast cancer and lost her battle on Friday.
Her publisher, Kansas City Star has a post HERE.
She was a wonderful cyber friend of mine, especially as I worked on my version of her patterns from the book A Bountiful Life. We exchanged many emails and photos. She was sweet and funny and will be terribly missed.
She also had a wonderful and inspiring blog Sew Primitive Quilter.
I have been feeling sad over her passing too. She had such a lot of talent.
