I can finally check another UFO off of my 2016 Finish-A-Long Q3 list: the Primitive Gatherings Flower Garden Crazy Mat is complete! |
I've also been able to stay on top of the Front Porch SAL and can't wait to find out what we work on next over at Humble Quilts on Monday. |
This is going to be one big quilt! I love how fun and summery the blocks look. |
I have the Primitive Gatherings Summer Garden Crazy mat all fused and ready for some Slow Sunday Stitching--maybe I will get it done while it's still summer! Linking with Slow Sunday Stitching HERE and 2016 Finish-A-Long (see sidebar for link) |
Love those crazy garden mats from Primitive Gatherings... and I'm definitely not a primitive stitcher. But oh, your finished one is wonderful! Congratulations on the finish.
ReplyDeleteI love your primitive gathering mat. There is something so lovely about the brilliantly colored wool against the black background that is just compelling. Your embroidery stitches are fantastic-you did good-they add so much to the finish.
ReplyDeleteYour flower garden mat is lovely. Great stitch work and it's interesting to see the second one at this stage. Just shows how stunning your stitching is in the first one!
ReplyDeleteThe wool floral mat is gorgeous. Did you use your own stash of wool or a kit?
ReplyDeleteLove your mat! There is a lot of stitches there what a great finish!
ReplyDeleteLove the Crazy Mats they are so pretty and vibrant.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous mat! This whole post just exudes summer!
ReplyDeleteYou always have the best projects.
Black wool, those a bright colored flowers and your stitching makes an awesome floral mat. The summer one is going to be cute too along with The Front Porch quilt.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your slow Sunday stitching. I was slow Sunday cutting. Trying to get My Crazy Life blocks ready to stitch. They were delayed by a possblle Canada Post strike and are now flooding in! Almost ready to start stitching.
ReplyDeleteYour PG flower mat is beautiful. After a year mine is only half done, as it got sat aside for other easier stitching projects. Your photo has inspired me to get it out and finish it some time this year.
ReplyDeleteI love your blocks. Your wool projects are lovely. Hugs
ReplyDeleteThe woolen mats are so fun and folky. I agree - the Front Porch is going to be big and summery!
ReplyDeleteVery nice collection if finishes.
ReplyDeleteYour finished mat does look lovely. I hope you enjoyed your slow stitching!

ReplyDeleteI love seeing the Porch quilt blocks all together!! Nice work!
ReplyDeleteIf you were listening to me as I scrolled through this post you'd hear me say " oh my golly goodness, how utterly beautiful!!" , " mmm yum those watermelons look good enough to eat" , " Awesome!! I can't wait to see what the next block will be? ".
