This week, I had to get my December Stitching Society project finished--the January meeting is this coming Thursday and I hadn't decided what design I would use for the project-an ornament.
|
I decided on the Snowflake. I can leave this ornament hanging out in Minnesota until May and it will look perfectly in place! |
|
I wasn't sure about the ribbon hanger--it's from a package I had just received in the mail and was the right color. |
I finished a few other wool hexagons this week too:
|
Mittens |
|
Frosty |
|
Ice Skate (my favorite this week) |
|
I have lots more hexies set up to stitch on--perfect for staying out of the outdoor deep freeze that set in today. |

I love your wool hexies!
ReplyDeleteI was looking forward to your hexie report. The blue polka dot ribbon is perfect as the ornament hanger. Like snow falling.
ReplyDeleteYour wool hexies are always fun to see. What's the total count so far?
ReplyDeleteStay warm. Stay safe. Life for us in the upper Midwest can be ugly, like this coming week.
Ok I can no longer pick a favorite, they are all just perfect! How many in total are you making they are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteSooooo cute! I love them all!!
ReplyDeleteLove your wool snowflake ornament. Ribbon is perfect. Lol on leaving it out in Minn until May. Bet then again, maybe it's not funny. I am considering doing wool applique.
ReplyDeleteI love that little snowflake ornament--the ribbon is just right!
ReplyDeleteI'm continually impressed by your tiny and exact stitching. A sweet ornament. Stay warm this week.
ReplyDeleteI think the snow flake ornament is a great choice.
ReplyDeleteKeep those hexagons coming!
Love the hexie's! How big are you making them? Is the a pattern?
