Front Porch Progress

A quick link-up:
I'm linking with Humble Quilts for this month's Front Porch block--I call it the Front Porch Trike.
This is a huge block and it kind of gave me fits. There is no layout to trace, so it had to be "eyeballed"--I think I got pretty close as to how it should be.

I had to share the cute packaging and label from an order I placed with the 1894 Cottonwood House all tied with a tiny sprig of dried herbs!

  1. Love your bicycle it looks great.

I've also ordered from 1894 Cottonwood House and was delighted with the care she packaged everything.

  4. That tricycle is so wonderful!! It looks perfectly innocent, as though it wasn't any trouble at all. It makes such a different to a parcel to get a sweet little card, how fun that it had a sprig of herbs too.

  8. I love your block. Did you have to add seam allowance to the templates for the wheels? I won't be working on mine until after the holidays. I saw many things I want to get from Cottonwood...thanks for the info. Hugs

  13. The tricycle block is the one I most associate with this pattern. I can see that it would be hard to make it look how it was meant to be without having a layout. I did a turkey applique block from a Jan Patek pattern a couple weeks ago and I missed having a layout on it too.
