I've been working furiously to get my list of UFO's for the first quarter of the year finished, and yet somehow I just had to work on the All in a Row quilt.
Here it is all quilted and bound--it's pretty rare to get a quilt done from start to finish without setting it aside to "age" for a while. |
It was pretty hard to get a decent photo--super windy day! |
The quilting is a plume pantograph called 500 Fill Power , the thread is Aurifil # 2325. |
For the back, I used up some Blackbird Designs sampler fabric that I have been hoarding. Don't worry--there's plenty more! |
The stitching on my T is complete.... |
....and it's so fun to see the first word all together. I can't wait for the next step! |
And another week of 365 Challenge block complete--all 3" blocks this time. Back to that UFO list.... |
Beautiful finish! (Love blue/brown quilts.)How did you get it all finished without aging it?? : )
ReplyDeleteYour wool blocks look very good. I'm still downloading those patterns, but I gave up on the 365 Challenge. Yours are really attractive in the blue/gold combo. I'll live it vicariously through you.
I adore row quilts and yours is adorable! Congrats on a quick finish!
ReplyDeleteLove the end result with your row quilt. You always choose great fabrics and colours for your projects.
ReplyDeleteI also adore your wool Let It Snow blocks!
What a beautiful quilt Karen! Just lovely! Your wool applique blocks are really cute too! Nice to have two such different projects to work on! Hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend! Christine x
ReplyDeleteWhat a great finish and you'll never have to call it a UFO. Blue and brown is always a wonderful combo and you chose a nice overall quilt design to finish it up. Let it Snow looks super. I'm still working on the T and I admire those of you working on the 365 challenge.
ReplyDeleteYour row by row is a beautiful finish.
ReplyDeleteYour mystery BOM is going to be beautiful as well.
That was financeually out of my reach this year.
Happy Easter
I always enjoy seeing all your projects! Love the row quilt, and congrats on the finish!
ReplyDeleteYou're way ahead of me on the 365 Challenge - I lost a lot of ground this month...
You did so very well making the blue & brown quilt. Love the colors together and a very nice design with the variety of blocks.
