I've slowly but surely been chipping away on my checkerboard blocks for the ThimbleCreek mystery quilt.
Once the units on the left are sewn, all 500 four patches will be finished--yay! Of course, then the pressing begins..... These will measure 1.5" when finished. |
At least my November UFO is finished! It's quilted with an edge to edge design: Feather Feather using So Fine color 425. |
I had a nice big chunk of an old Thimbleberries print that I used on the back. It was nice not to have to do so much piecing for the backing. |

Good work on all those 4 patches. Your lozenge quilt is gorgeous! It does look like a blanket of beautiful fall leaves. Happy Autumn. Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteAll of those 4-patches look mind-numbing. Good for you plowing through them!
ReplyDeleteYour Autumn throw looks so cozy. Congrats on the finish!
I like the way you unified your scrappy lozenge quilt by alternating the black & white corners - instead of having them scrappy too - a great project! Can't wait to see what you do with all your 4-patches - that's a LOT of them!
ReplyDeleteYour lozenges quilt is gorgeous! Beautiful for fall! Good luck with all of those 4 patches!
ReplyDeleteYour color choices for your lozenger quilt is totally fall. How nice to have that UFO done and now ready to use. Keep plugging away on the four patches.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Lozenges--love the autumn color theme; mine are ready to sew together..."Jouzai" because that's Japanese for lozenge . I have many more yellows and reds than green, blue and mauve--so setting will be a challenge--OR I may make smaller pieces--slowing down before the Holiday here....last trip to grocery this afternoon (!! ) hugs and Happiest of Holidays Julierose
