The Part Two blocks for the ThimbleCreek Halloween Mystery are finished. These were really fun to make--really! |
Last week's Temecula Summer Sew Along blocks are done too--some easy ones this time. |
I spent some time Saturday getting my July UFO quilted. I had some great advice on quilting design and thread from the long arm quilting group on Friday and I'm pretty very with the results. If I can tolerate it, I'll be spending some time today with this quilt in my lap stitching down the binding. It's been so warm the last couple days--I may need to break down and start the air conditioning so I can get this done! Linking up with Kathy at Slow Sunday Stitching HERE |
Fabulous blocks again Karen and I can't wait to see your finished UFO!! The quilting looks gorgeous! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blocks and love that fabric on your quilt.
ReplyDeleteLove those mystery blocks!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your slow stitching today and stay cool!
Binding a quilt definitely calls for turning the a/c on! Nice binding fabric!
ReplyDeleteI love the quilt fabric! Enjoy your binding...it is sometimes rough to do that kind of work in the summer!
ReplyDeleteLOL!!! I've been power sewing and just stacking my finished in a pile to sew the binding in the Fall. Though we headed to the mountains this coming week and I plan to bring a lap quilt that needs binding with me. :) :) (Love your blocks!)
ReplyDeleteI love the colors in your UFO! And what I can see of the quilting looks great. I look forward to seeing the full quilt when you're finished.
ReplyDeleteI bought the fabric and the block tool for the TQC sampler, and downloaded all the instructions, but thats as far as I've gotten ~
That Halloween Mystery is going to be lovely--I really like your choices of backgrounds a lot...hugs, Julierose

ReplyDeleteHalloween mystery is cute and they do look like fun to make blocks. I don't have any a/c to turn on, it's sweltering hot here today too, and I managed to get some binding finished. (Never again when it is this hot!)
