Slow and Sweltering Sunday Stitching

The Part Two blocks for the ThimbleCreek Halloween Mystery are finished.
These were really fun to make--really!

Last week's Temecula Summer Sew Along blocks are done too--some easy ones this time.

I spent some time Saturday getting my July UFO quilted. I had some great advice on quilting design and thread from the long arm quilting group on Friday and I'm pretty very with the results.
If I can tolerate it, I'll be spending some time today with this quilt in my lap stitching down the binding. It's been so warm the last couple days--I may need to break down and start the air conditioning so I can get this done!

  6. LOL!!! I've been power sewing and just stacking my finished in a pile to sew the binding in the Fall. Though we headed to the mountains this coming week and I plan to bring a lap quilt that needs binding with me. :) :) (Love your blocks!)

  7. I love the colors in your UFO! And what I can see of the quilting looks great. I look forward to seeing the full quilt when you're finished.

I bought the fabric and the block tool for the TQC sampler, and downloaded all the instructions, but thats as far as I've gotten ~

  11. Halloween mystery is cute and they do look like fun to make blocks. I don't have any a/c to turn on, it's sweltering hot here today too, and I managed to get some binding finished. (Never again when it is this hot!)
