I am so far behind on my Stitching Society wool hexagons. The project for September was a banner/bell pull--I'm hoping to put the finishing touches on it today!

Today I will be adding some Big Stitch Quilting along the edges and around the hexies using a chenille needle and pearl cotton. I'm looking forward to hanging my Autumn banner later this week! |

Your banner is beautiful! Isn't working with wool fun?
ReplyDeleteOh those close ups are wonderful! That little squirrel is so cute!
ReplyDeleteSo adoragle those hexies---I love that leaf especially..nice works hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteWool applique and Fall seem to go together. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your banner and the ric rac around the outside edges finishes it off nicely!
ReplyDeleteI did some looking yesterday and find that there is no way to just purchase the patterns for what you are making. We will never have one of these clubs in our area as no shops are interested in stocking wool. So I will just enjoy your stitching pictures and maybe design some of my own.
ReplyDeleteThis is SO sweet - I particularly like the acorns and the pumpkin. Your stitches are just perfection.
ReplyDeleteA lovely fall banner... adorable blocks!
