March Mission: OMG done!

My One Monthly Goal (OMG) for March.
I was hoping to get a better photo of my finished Primitive Garden outdoors, but thanks to several inches of wet sloppy snow, an indoor photo will have to suffice.

After outlining all of the applique with mono-poly, there wasn't a lot of room left in most of the blocks for more quilting. I didn't want to nail down the background too much--trying to keep the quilt drape-y and not so stiff. Sooo......lots of the blocks just got a little doodling--butterflies, dragonflies, snails, and vines.

This one just got a little cameo in the background.

I plan to give the quilt a little spin in the washer ( with lots of color catchers) to remove the blue pen and chalk markings.
Wish me luck!

Yesterday I picked up these up at Costco--5 bins on sale for $15.99!
Now if I could only find five projects to fill them--just kidding--lol!

  10. Your quilt shows that it does not have to be made in wool. What I have often thought of doing....I have had the pattern for a long, long time.
