The binding has been made and the backing fabrics are ready to be pieced, so I think it only makes sense that my Front Porch top should be finished in July--it screams Summer!! Wish me luck!! Linking with One Monthly Goal HERE
How do you applique so quickly..ye gods, it took me most of yesterday until 1/2 hour ago to do one lone little eagle silhouette...;ooo not to mention the prepping...I love your front porch piece--it certainly does say "Summer is here"...love that little flag block... hugs, Julierose P.S. do you trim out the back from your appliqued pieces??
Screams summer is right! That's the summeriest quilt I've ever seen! 8) I've got a book of Jan Patek patterns, but haven't started one yet since I can't decide which one should be first!
Absolutely beautiful!! I'm with Julierose - how do you appliqué so quickly?? and do you trim out the back from your appliqué pieces? (I'm still plodding along on the basket block....maybe I'll be done next July! :)))
