July UFO (finally) done!

This seems to be a pattern--here I am at the very last minute with my monthly UFO finish!

Lisa's Flower Garden
 2016 Stitch Therapy project
This project was my July UFO for One Monthly Goal and it's also on my
2016 Finish-A-Long 3Q list
I put in the final binding and label stitches last night. Now it can go live at the quilt shop for a while!

I didn't do a lot of quilting--just outlined the appliques and echoed curves in the nine patches...

..and some curly feathers in the border.
Of course, I had to bind it in blue--lol!

Remember: It's not really done until there's a label!

  2. What a fantastic finish for July. (it doesn't matter what part of July that happens to be.). It's a beautiful quilt and completely done, label included. It really didn't need any fancy quilting the wool blocks are the stars, but the feathers in the triangles are lovely. Are you ready for August?

  10. Just love this little quilt. It is fabulous. One of my favorite combos are nine patches with applique. Those little nine patches play wonderfully with your sweet applique blocks.

  11. Another stunning quilt! I don't know how you do it. Summer has been so busy this year that I can barely squeak out a few minutes to quilt here and there. Always enjoy seeing your quilts.
